Crew Chief Notes | "It is very important to find the limits and know to what extent you can cut a vertex or speed up the outer limit of the track without obtaining an offtrack to perform in the best possible way in Spa. A good acceleration after La Source allows you to face the entire Raidillion area and its posterior straight line at the highest possible speed. Raidillion should be done with full throttle just like Blanchimont (turn 18). In Les Combes, staying as close as possible to the left side of the circuit after turn 8 allows you to better take the turn to the right (9). In the Pouhon entrance you can use the external piano to have a better turn, this will make it possible to accelerate earlier. The same in Stavelot. Turn 16 should be with full throttle. Keeping the car in the middle of the track before taking the last turn on the circuit allows you to have more turning radius and a better exit to the straight. Racing in Spa tends to be intense at the start, try to have a good start and secure your car to no damage. You can better manage the race by deciding according to the situation you are in if it is preferable to save behind a car or go deep and make a difference with your pursuers."
