    "********** Track Guide **********
Welcome to Bark River! This track is very fast and flowing, with a few technical jumps. A fast lap here will require precise lines and very smooth throttle and steering inputs.

To start the lap, you go through the right hander that is turn 1. This corner quite literally has you going over a hill mid corner, so it’s easy to make a mistake here. To start, you’re going to want to be as far left as possible on entry. As soon as the corner starts I like to lift to about half throttle to make sure I don’t rotate too much. Once you have the truck set, you’ll want to aim for the inside berm so that you’re as close to it as possible as you crest the hill. Cresting the hill can be tricky here, so make sure you pay attention. While you want to get as close as possible to the inside berm, you want to avoid hitting it at all costs. If you hit it you’ll get massive air and potentially have a huge crash. Always side with caution here instead of going for every inch of track. Once you crest the hill you can get back to full throttle with minimal issues.

After turn 1, you hit two jumps and then immediately are thrown into the sweeping turn 2. There’s a jump that leads directly into this corner, so you’ll want to make sure that you angle your truck so that you’re pointing in the direction of the corner once you go over the jump. This corner is slightly deceiving, so make sure you aim a little farther left than you think you need to when setting up for the jump. Once you get over the jump, you’ll want to let the truck drift out towards the center of the track while maintaining as much throttle as possible. There is a lot of time to be gained here, so make sure to really attack. This corner decreases radius at the end, so you’ll want to lift to about half or quarter throttle to let the truck rotate a little more so that you can adjust for the tighter corner. As with turn 1, you’ll want to get as close to the inside berm as possible once the corner tightens up, and then let the truck use as much of the track as possible on exit.

Immediately after turn 2 you have two more jumps and then a fast chicane. You’ll want to hit the first jump as far right on the track as possible. Once you land the first jump you’ll want to flick the wheel to the left so that the nose is pointing towards the inside of the first part of the chicane. Don’t be afraid to hit the second jump a little sideways- if you do it right you’ll be rotated perfectly for the next corner. Take the first part of the chicane (the left hander) as close to the inside berm as possible. As soon as you get out of the left hander you’ll want to flick the truck to the right and cut as much of the inside grass as possible for the right hander. You can get a slow down if you cut the track too much, but finding the limit and getting as close to it as possible will gain you some time.

After a massive jump you come to turn 5. This corner can be slightly tricky as it leads directly into a rhythm section. I like to brake slightly just as I’m passing the blue concrete block on the left side of the track. As I’m braking, I’ll flick the wheel to the right slightly to get the truck to rotate. Once the truck is rotated properly, I’ll get on the throttle early and carry as much speed through the corner as possible. You’ll want to use as much track as possible on entry and exit, as carrying speed through this corner helps a ton with the rhythm section.

After turn 5, you have a rhythm section that can ruin your lap if you hit it wrong. This section leads directly into a sweeping left hander, so exiting this section correctly is crucial. I like to lift slightly as I’m going over the first bump, and then hold half throttle through the section. You can go quicker through the section than I am, but I prioritize constantly getting into the left hander correctly than risking a mistake that will cost many seconds. You can also take many lines through this section- it all depends on comfort and what’s happening in the race. I personally prefer to enter the section on the left side of the track and stay there so that I’m on the left side of the track for the next left hander. You can also start on the right side or in the middle and let the truck drift to the left as you go through the section with no issues.

After the rhythm section you come to turn 6. This is another sweeping left hander that decreases radius. However, unlike turn 2, you want to stay as far left as possible through the entire corner. There seems to be a groove on the inside of the track that pulls you around the corner if you can get your left front tire in it. Get the car as far left as possible and use the throttle to keep the right angle through the corner so that you can keep the tire there. On the exit of the corner you can cut the inside grass to guarantee a good exit as well.

After turn 6, you hit a jump that immediately leads into turn 7. You absolutely don’t want to hit this jump full throttle. If you do, you’ll go super wide, which will completely ruin your lap. I like to let completely off the gas as soon as I start going up the jump. Doing this will land you perfectly on the other side of the jump and will let you get through turn 7 quickly. Turn 7 is pretty straight forward- keep full throttle and make sure you exit on the left side of the track.

After going through turn 7, you should be on the left side of the track. This will perfectly set you up for turn 8. You’ll want to flick the wheel to the right and hit the brakes slightly to get the truck to rotate back around for the right hander. Once the truck is rotated, use the throttle to manage how much angle you have. For this corner you want to be as far inside as possible without cutting the track. It’s relatively easy to get a slow down here, so make sure to avoid the grass if at all possible. You want to exit this corner as far right as possible.

After turn 8, you have the next three left handers, separated by smaller jumps. If you position your truck correctly, you can essentially make this entire section one corner in which you maintain the same angle all the way through. To start, you want to use the banking on the outside of the first left hander. Putting your right rear tire on the banking will give you a ton of grip and allow you to carry much needed speed. As soon as you’re out of the first left hander, you want to floor the throttle and hit the first jump as fast as possible. The goal here is to completely clear the jump without your rear tires hitting the edge of the jump. In addition to hitting the jump as fast as possible, you’ll also want to flick the wheel to the left just before your front tires leave the face of the jump. Doing this will set you up perfectly for the rest of the section.

As soon as you land the first jump, you want to aim for the inside of the right hander. You can get a slow down if you cut the corner too much, so make sure you leave some space to be safe. Once you go through the apex of the second right hander, you’ll want to let the truck drift up towards the outside wall as you go over the second jump. If you’re at the right angle, you don’t have to worry about this jump at all as you’ll just slide over it as if it wasn’t there. Once you get over this second jump, the only thing left is to straighten out and power towards the finish line. There is a small bump on the inside of the track here, but it really doesn’t matter if you hit it or not.
