IndyCar Road Series (160 laps):
Preferred strategy: 60/60/40
Run the race set at -3 WJ to start with and adjust based on feel as the run goes along. The set is designed to start slightly on the looser side in order to be able to run strongly in traffic and not overload/overheat the RF tyre. You will not be able to run 100% pace, especially in dirty air or hotter conditions. Ensure you are smooth in all your inputs, backing up your entry into turn 1 and run a higher line through turns 3 and 4. Good driving will keep the tyres within a good operating window and shouldn't require you to chase the WJ up beyond +2 or +3. Be patient and build your runs as overtaking will be difficult.
Run +5 WJ into turn 1, +0 WJ into turns 3 and 4. Lap 1 should be your fast lap. Make sure you test and find which WJ combination works for your style of driving.
